Your contiki tour details
Your estimate sits within the typical range.
The tour price is only part of the cost. Many meals are not included, and drinks, optional activities and tips are all extra, these add-ons commonly come to 40 to 60 percent on top of the headline tour price, so budget them in rather than being caught short mid-trip.
Optional activities (the hot-air balloon, the boat party, the special dinners) are where a tour's real cost lives, and they add up fast. Decide before you go which you genuinely want, so you can budget for them rather than feeling pressured to say yes to everything on the road.
The headline tour price usually covers transport, accommodation and some meals, but not your flights to the start city, many meals, drinks, optional excursions or tips. For European tours, Australians must also watch the Schengen 90-day limit and confirm the future ETIAS requirement. Check what each specific tour includes.
